Casting is a process of pouring molten metal into a mold to form a part. After removing from the mold, the part may be machined and heat treated for use. The part is referred to as a casting. The metal is usually more porous than other types of metals. A forging is a part made by hammering steel into a final shape. Some forgings are shaped to a special hammer form. Forgings are generally considered stronger than castings, but due to their cost, only valves of 2″ and smaller are mostly made of forgings.
Cast Valves are available in following type.
